  1. Beautiful work. I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to read about a Saren who has feelings and depth of emotion but just… expresses it differently. So many people see that kind of behavior and write that person off as being cold and unfeeling (literally! so many written depictions of Saren are like that) when it’s exactly the opposite. People don’t see the expected signs of an emotional response and instead assume a lack of one, or label the other person as being angry/judgemental/etc when they aren’t. They have emotions, they just don’t show or process them like everyone else! Anyway, I’ve never seen that phenomenon depicted in fiction as accurately as you depict it in Saren, so thank you. sorry if this is kinda rambly, it’s a tricky thing to try to describe.

  2. Thank you so much for writing this. It’s one of the loveliest, most precious things anyone has ever said about my writing. Yes, it’s a tricky thing to describe, which makes me all the more happy to hear that I have managed it! This story will probably be somewhat inaccessible to most people, but reaching those who *do* understand is exactly what makes writing so intensely rewarding.

    Thank you once again. <3
